將有多于五十位英國奧運健兒受益于洲際酒店集團的一項計劃，作為2012倫敦奧運會的官方合作伙伴，洲際酒店集團的假日酒店將在接下來的兩年里為備戰2012年倫敦奧運會的英國運動員們提供1500次免費住宿機會。當運動員在訓練、比賽、休息或者養傷時，運動員和他們的后援小組可以享受免費住宿。
       在奧運期間，假日酒店將在運動員村為來自世界各地的運動員服務，為他們提供住房經理、接待、門房等服務。而且假日酒店還會聘請一些奧運選手或殘奧會選手，這樣這些選手不但可以進行訓練還可以賺錢。
      英國奧組委的體育總裁Clive Woodword說：“所有運動員都知道，作為訓練的一部分，良好的睡眠是至關重要的。”

      Up to 50 British athletes will benefit from an IHG program that offers 1,500 free nights over the next two years to help them train for the 2012 Olympics in London. IHG’s Holiday Inn brand is the official hotel partner of the games. When they are training, competing or during rest and recovery, athletes and their support teams can use the free stays at any time.
      During the Olympics, Holiday Inn will help host the world's athletes in the Athletes Village, providing residential managers, receptionists and concierges. Additionally, Holiday Inn will employ a number of aspiring Olympic and Paralympic athletes on a flexible basis at hotels in leading up to the games, helping athletes build work experience and earn money while they train and compete.
      “All athletes understand the importance of a good night's sleep as part of their training regime,” says Clive Woodward, director of sport for the British Olympic Association.
